SMCISD has partnered with us on many levels through Travis Elementary and Goodnight Middle School. We are thankful for the opportunity to mentor students, teach students about Jesus during Good News Club, and encourage the faculty and staff.
The Mentoring Project is the framework in which we base our mentoring program. We love their purpose and mission, and have taken it and made it personal to impact San Marcos.
In our community based mentoring program through Owen Goodnight Middle School, we have partnered with the central Texas Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
Eikon Church
Travis Elementary is where the school based mentoring program and Good News Club takes place. Mentors are able to meet up with a student once a week on the school campus and invest in the child's life.
The community based mentoring program is with students at Owen Goodnight Middle School. Mentors meet up with students on a weekly basis and pour into their lives outside of the school environment.
